Doctor in Economics from Paris 1 Sorbonne University (1991) and associate of the Faculties of Economics (1994), El Mouhoub Mouhoud is a Professor of Economics at the University of Paris Dauphine (PSL-Research University) and a researcher at the Laboratory of Economics of Dauphine-DIAL joint research unit with IRD (Institute for Development Research). He became the president of Paris Dauphine in 2020.
Professor Mouhoud teaches international economics. He is the founder and director of the International Research Group of CNRS DREEM (Development of Euro-Mediterranean Economic Research) founded in 2007. He was also a scientific advisor in the General Planning Commission Service to the Prime Minister (France Strategies) (1995-2007) and a consultant to the OECD, the UN, and the World Bank. Professor Mouhoud is Research Fellow at the Economic Research Forum (Cairo). He is the author of over a hundred articles published in international and French academic journals and over twenty books.
